Job Title: Vice President – HR Business Partner
Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019
Duties: Partner closely with Senior Human Resources Business Partner, head of business, and executive management team and ensure that organizational structure aligns to business strategies and objectives. Drive Human Resources programs within the business lines in partnership with the Human Resources Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Talent and Organizational Development, Employee Relations and Rewards). Carry out talent reviews, succession planning, promotion planning, organizational design and compensation planning and related allocation/execution. Meet objectives to prioritize employee wellbeing, DEI, professional conduct; use and communicate KPI’s and data analytics through regular meetings; facilitate development and execution of talent strategy, change management, career management, and internal mobility. Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas RCC Inc office in New York, New York.
SALARY: $137,000 - $184,000 / year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Human Resources, Psychology, Management, Organization Development, or related field and seven (7) years of experience in job offered or related role. Must have seven (7) years of experience with the following: Human Resources Business Partner experience in the banking industry with senior client exposure; Supporting a comparable client base within the Banking/Finance industry; Leading projects, managing change, and helping to foster/create a collaborative working environment; Designing, building, and implementing Human Resources functional programs, policies, tools, and procedures; Experience with Human Resources Management Systems including Oracle People Soft; Experience with compensation tools including fixed salary, variable compensation, applicable deferred plans, and retention scheme; Experience with appraisal tools including objectives, interviews, career path, and personal development plan; Experience with interview tools including scoping and reporting; Experience with reporting tools including office presence, compliance, and mandatory trainings; Experience with generic IT tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Working collaboratively to facilitate the delivery of Human Resources support in numerous locations and on numerous topics including strong involvement in yearly compensation process; Building trust and reliability with partners and stakeholders, both on client and Human Resources sides, measured through collection of regular feedback on staff performance and measurement of client/partner satisfaction, especially around year end appraisal time; Managing multiple priorities and projects through successful delivery and implementation under time, and within budget; Navigating matrix organization with global and regional structures; and Partnering and leading specialty functions of Human Resources (e.g., compensation, learning & development, mobility, employee relations) desired with a mix of operational, strategic and systems thinking experience.
