KYC Officer for AML monitoring level 1 & CAC team (until 30th June 2025)
YOUR TEAM
- As the first line of defence (L1), transactional monitoring for WM clients and analysis of hits on transactions to ensure they comply with AML policy, internal procedures as well as client transactional history and behaviour.
- Organisation of CACs (Client Acceptance Committee) in the context of account opening, recertification, US Committee, AEOI committee etc.
- And various other activities such as: Legal research, client data management, IT projects and more.
YOUR WORKDAY
- Analyse alerts generated by NORKOM (transactional monitoring tool) based on available information in our tools (KYC, KYT, Contact Report, and others) in the respect of AML procedures.
- If needed, send a RFI (Request for information) to the RM to obtain further information/documentation.
- Depending on the case, either close the alert at level 1 or escalate the alert to level 2.
- Key objectives:
- Always focus on quality, clarity, and precision of your analysis.
- Respect deadlines and carefully monitor the age of your alerts.
- Respect an average quantity of alerts per day (to be determined with your manager).
- Do not hesitate to ask for help either to the team, your manager or compliance AML (L2).
YOUR OTHER ACTIVITIES:
- Schedule various WM Committees: account opening, recertification, etc.
- Participate to the committee, redact, register, and diffuse the minutes
- Follow-up on Committee decisions: Schedule NCF committees, send reminders to RM/assistants, make sur the decisions are registered in our follow-up tool.
- Use the Phonetic tool to screen our clients based on sanction lists, Legal request and other request and provide the hits to the requestors (ex: Compliance, Legal department, Business Management)
- VHS (Very High Security) data exit approval:
- Verify that the request is justified and authorised based on the VHS procedure.
- Verify that the content of the data to be exited is in line with the request.
- Encrypt the data.
- Transfer the data to the requestor and provide the password to access the data.
- Update the transfer journal for audit purposes.
- Actively participate to project, trainings, and specific transversal missions (IT project, IG, external audit, procedure update, etc).
- Update/modify client data in our data management tool.
- Check lists of control.
- Process all WM consignment accounts.
