BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions - Data Domain Manager
The BNPP LS DATA strategy is under construction, under the department of the Chief Data Officer (CDO).
In this context, the Data Domain Manager is responsible for the deployment and execution of data governance on the BNPP LS Italy perimeter in accordance with the Data Management principles defined by the CDO LS
The Data Domain Manager is responsible for documenting, supervising, and guaranteeing the consistency, integrity and quality of data within BNPP LS Italy, in connection with the business, the functions of the CDO and IT security. It will rely on key players defined in BNPP LS governance such as Chief Data Officer, Data Custodian IT Officer and Data Quality Analysts.
The Data Domain Manager will report hierarchically to the Management of BNPP Leasing Italy and functionally to the Chief Data Officer BNPP LS.
Main responsibilities:
• Ensuring the governance of data within the scope of responsibility: identification of key data, data dictionary documentation, data lifecycle documentation and usage cases;
• Identifying key players and services within its organization;
• Steering and leading the data quality committees in its scope (Quality Assessment Remediation Committee Italy);
• Define and implement quality and indicator controls (KCP) by Data Quality Analysts;
• Prepare and monitor remediation plans to be implemented;
• Coordinate with the various stakeholders / management (operational/ IT) and Data Quality Analysts the implementation of identified and prioritized corrective actions;
• Ensuring the analysis of results and remediation with the various contributors;
• Ensure that the objectives/adapted to the activities carried out within its scope are defined and that they are monitored and returned;
• Ensure communication with the CDO through staging points, developments and blocking points.
• Helping to share experience and solve problems with the Data Domain Manager community
• Local implementation of external data management governance related to the new BNPP LS governance
• Actively contribute to the Procurement Harmonization/Optimization Project within its scope in line with the strategy defined at BNPP LS Corporate
• Coordinate the implementation of control plans within his/her scope if necessary
• Promoting a culture of accountability within its scope,
• Supporting change management to integrate best data management practices
• Ensuring transparency, promoting the use of data, monitoring data rights, reporting to governance bodies
• Contribute to transformation projects by integrating the data scope
All these aspects will have to be integrated into the design of all products, services, projects and systems within its remit.
PROFILE:
You have a Master’s degree from a university or engineering school and have five years’ experience in data management or a similar position.
You manage project steering and change management, as well as good knowledge of data governance and data quality management.
Advanced spoken and written level in English and French.
