Saint-Louis of Senegal is organizing its 24th edition of the Festival of International Jazz from 11 au 16 May 2016.
This African Cultural Heritage event must not be missed under any pretext.
Sponsor of jazz for more than 20 ans, the BNP Paribas Foundation is renewing for the seventh consecutive year its support for the Saint-Louis Jazz Festival, alongside BICIS (International Bank for the Trade and Industry of Senegal), a subsidiary of BNP Paribas.
From 11 to 16 May 2016, Place Faidherbe (Faidherbe Square) will be the venue of the 24th edition of the Saint-Louis Jazz Festival where talented young people from around the world will celebrate jazz in all its shapes and colors.
Master-classes will be arranged during the 24th edition to favor dialogue between performers. Many musicians will be delighted to share their experiences in order to contribute to the development of young Senegalese musicians. In the course of just a few days, the accounts of their experiences, their advice and their teaching will enable young artists to progress in their company and regain confidence in themselves. These various activities will offer rhythm to Saint-Louis throughout the festival.
