The BNP Paribas Foundation patronage committee has added two baroque music groups to its roster of partners: The XIII-21/Baroque Nomade ensemble, directed by Jean-Christophe Frisch, and the La Chimera ensemble, directed by Eduardo Egüez. From Latin America to India, these two ensembles combine composed music and folk music. Their aim is to work with international artists and specialists to promote the rediscovery of forgotten works in the baroque repertoire.

As a long-standing sponsor of contemporary dance, the Foundation is also pleased to welcome the dance company of Georges Momboye. This talented dancer and choreographer from the Côte d'Ivoire has worked in France for the past 15 years. He is a leading force in contemporary African dance, providing him with a fundamental source of energy as he revisits major pieces in the ballet repertory with great success: Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring, soon to be joined by a Bartok piece.
