Abou Lagraa, choreographer and ambassador of the Dream Up programme and Milla Trausch, theater artist and teacher, help children who are experiencing problems in their lives and asylum seekers to tell their life story through dance. These encounters took place at Les Rotondes, a unique architectural site made of two former locomotive roundhouses at the Luxembourg City station.
By associating performing arts and social issues, these encounters put the question of refugees in Europe under the spotlight and allow those involved to express themselves.
The aim is to highlight individuals and personalities, reveal hidden talents and remove barriers between stories. For Abou Lagraa, dance is a powerful means of transmission and a universal language, which everyone can use whatever their age, language, level of fitness or education, or even their handicap. Opening the field of possibilities by giving disadvantaged young people the confidence they lost is his desire.
Discover the work of Abou Lagraa and Milla Trausch with these new talents from all backgrounds.
