Contributing to the environmental and social impact
BNP Paribas is committed to the energy transition and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by earmarking 135 billion euros distributed as follows:
- €102bn in company loans directed at the sectors, sub-sectors, companies and projects that contribute directly to the Sustainable Development Goals. These include, for example, loans granted to companies active in the field of recycling, water management or energy efficiency or the financing of medical centers for underprivileged populations, or even mobility infrastructures with low CO₂ emissions.
- €25bn in decarbonised assets under management at BNP Paribas Asset Management.
- €8.8bn in green bonds structured or distributed by BNP Paribas as at mid-2017.
