The SDGs are everyone’s business. They concern society, governments as well as the private sector. The CSR strategy of BNP Paribas Group, which is based on 4 pillars and 12 commitments, is in line with these 17 goals, which are mainly intended to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all.

In order to raise BNP Paribas employees’ awareness of these challenges, the CSR department is organising a series of four conferences on the SDGs. On the occasion of the first conference, “BNP Paribas and #GlobalGoals”, which was held on Thursday 9 March 2017 in Paris, Martina Otto, Head of the Cities & Lifestyles Unit of UNEP, presented the aims, impacts and players involved in the SDGs.
