BNP Paribas celebrates 15 years' love for jazz

BNP Paribas Foundation has been faithfully supporting jazz writers and performers for more than 15 years.
The BNP Paribas Foundation also supports overseas jazz festivals in partnership with BNP Paribas subsidiaries in the countries in question.
This is the case of the Saint-Louis Jazz Festival, which has been supported by BICIS, the Senegalese subsidiary of BNP Paribas, for ten years now. Two years ago, the BNP Paribas Foundation decided to up its support for the BICIS event, and it has been able to attract some top quality artists, which it also supports: singer Elizabeth Kontomanou and the quartet led by percussionist Simon Goubert, as well as organist Emmanuel Bex and saxophonist Sylvain Beuf, who appeared on 21 and 22 May for the 18th edition of the festival.
In Morocco, the BNP Paribas subsidiary BMCI has been sponsoring the Tanjazz Festival for many years, and on 23 September pianist Jean-Pierre Como will be appearing for a special concert thanks to the support of the BNP Paribas Foundation.
These numerous actions make the BNP Paribas Foundation one of the few jazz patrons around, with a dual ambition of bringing jazz to the wider public and increasing contact between jazz artists from different cultures.
