WAVE for HEALTH is a global citizen dynamic on collective ingenuity for health. From 23 to 24 September, multidisciplinary experts gathered at WAVEspace to work on new creative solutions to address a scientific challenge.
WAVE for HEALTH gathered for this occasion 40 international experts: health experts, entrepreneurs, designers and researchers in a range of fields mobilised around a little-known health issue: Intrauterine Growth Restriction. Every year in France, 80,000 children are affected, and only one in five cases is diagnosed before birth.
Overall, 6 teams, 5 hours of workshops and 3 challenges issued by the PremUp Foundation for scientific cooperation, which specialises in Intrauterine Growth Restriction: identification of new biomarkers, creating a community platform and a communication strategy development.
In the morning, the workshops were presented to a committee of ambassadors composed of Joël de Rosnay, Oussama Amar, Tram-Anh Nguyen Trinh, François Debiesse and Xavier Guillon. The aim: to look for possible connections between the paths taken by the project teams and the ambassadors’ initiatives in order to crystallise at least one project to travel with the WAVE exhibition worldwide.
