BNP Paribas x VIVA Technology 2026, discover the programme!

BNP Paribas, founding partner of Europe's largest event dedicated to Tech and Innovation, will be present at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 17 to 20 June. As a Tech Bank, we support the innovation ecosystem by foresting its development (financing, advisory, investment) and by integrating the most innovative and secure solutions to benefit our clients.

VIVA Technology 2026: "European Sovereignty Driven by Tech"

This year, BNP Paribas will introduce its Innovation Café, an immersive space where technology comes to life, demonstrating how innovation enhances and transforms the client experience. Its various areas will host several startups and innovations supported by the Group, including a surprise event for 10,000 young people on June 20!

To mark its 10th anniversary, Viva Technology will take over the Champs-Elysées on Sunday 14, June, as part of an exceptional event open to the public. This year, European sovereignty matters will be part of the debates and aisles of the fair, alongside AI, cybersecurity, sustainable mobility and energy issues.

15,000 startups, 171 countries represented, 180,000 visitors expected, with a capacity doubled compared to the previous edition. 

On the programme this year, speeches by major political decision-makers and the business world, but also athletes and personalities: Emmanuel Macron, Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Elon Musk (Telsa), Satya Nadella (Microsoft), Bernard Arnault (LVMH), Serena and Venus Willams, Joe Tsai (Alibaba), Shantanu Narayen (Adobe), Jean-Charles Samuelian (Alan), Jensen Huang (Nvidia), Léon Marchand, Arthur Mensch (Mistral AI), Peter Steinberger (OpenClaw), Thibault Sottiaux (OpenAI), Jared Isaacman (NASA), Henna Virkkunen (European Commission). 

Germany in the spotlight: 

After Canada in 2025, the 2026 edition puts Germany in the spotlight with the largest stand in the history of the show and an unprecedented delegation: 200 startups including 7 major Tech companies: Siemens, SAP, Allianz, Zalando, IAV (automotive engineering and development), Deutsche Telekom and T (telephony service provider), many federal and regional partners, 14 Länder, 12 government entities and two federal ministers.


BNP Paribas at VIVA Technology 2026: welcome to the Innovations Café!

To celebrate VivaTech’s 10th anniversary, the Group will welcome its BtoB visitors and the public in the BNP Paribas Innovations café. Located on the 2nd floor of Pavilion 7, this concept is designed to transform tech into a familiar, human and accessible experience for our clients. A café to understand, exchange and anticipate the future! 

Special focus will be given to the Bank's vision of European sovereignty, particularly through several initiatives around WERO, the European mobile payment and instant transfer solution: 

  • an innovation space on the Champs-Elysées on Sunday, 14 June, where the Group will be located near the letter “V” of VivaTech
  • a WERO bar on the stand throughout the event
  • a highlight event: the Wero Challenge, open to the public on Saturday, 20 June.

BNP Paribas' programme and Startups at VIVA Technology 2026:

  • During the three BtoB days, a programme of exchanges and conferences will take place in the BNP Paribas Innovations Café, around different themes: tech champions, women in tech, AI, trust & cyber with an HR meeting every day at 1.30 pm

The startups of the BNP Paribas LAB at VIVA Technology 2026: 15 French and international startups will be present on the BNP Paribas stand, in fields as varied as energy, mobility, health, deeptech, industry, AI, data and proptech (or property technology, i.e. the use of technology in the real estate sector).

  • Coding Workshop: learn to code alongside B-School by BNP Paribas students for collaborative learning.
  • Cyberculture: a workshop to raise awareness of cybersecurity issues, essential in a constantly changing digital world.
  • Mentoring: BNP Paribas Tech experts will lead sessions dedicated to students from the Sistech  and Les Descodeuses associations, to support them in their professional project.

A side event organized by the Group: the Level Up event

Level Up! is an exclusive BNP Paribas Group event organised on the sidelines of VivaTech, which brings together entrepreneurs, Group executives and experts around three main areas of expertise: Banking & Financing, Investments, and Collaboration & Support.

It aims to foster concrete connections between technology startups and scale-ups and the Group's experts. In partnership with the media Maddyness, Level Up will also host the reveal of the MAD30 - European Tech Challengers, honoring 30 European tech leaders, selected from 10 strategic sectors.
