- Managing the team of project managers, identifying and prioritising topics that deserve close management attention, while communicating a synthetic and clear status to teams based in Lisbon and Paris
Your Main Activities Are
- Expert level of regulatory, prudential, accounting, and liquidity skills, coupled with soft skills and communication aptitude to manage the team's workload and guide Project Managers in their respective domains of responsibility
- Manage HR topics, namely recruitment, target setting, periodic appraisals, appointing back-ups to ensure business continuity and coach the new joiners to the team
- Encourage autonomy, team spirit, and adaptability of Project Managers, with a focus on talent retention
- As a client-focused leader, deploy good interpersonal skills to develop and maintain good working relationship with the principal stakeholders in Lisbon, in particular with teams in charge of granular reporting to ECB and RWA computation/analysis
- Facilitate sharing of and transfer of knowledge, provide training to team members on regulation, accounting, internal tools, and processes
- Coordinate Project Managers and, as needed, deploy a wide array of skills from the organisation of projects, to the preparation of the support materials and minutes taking
- Propose appropriate solutions within the framework of projects managed by the team, and synthetically communicate to Group functions and operating entities, the expected developments and their operational insertion in the updated processes
- Manage the operational scope of the team in light of the regulatory changes and recommendations issued by the Bank's regulatory bodies and auditors
- Participate in the Steering Committees and follow-up on action plans and roadmaps
- Promote initiative taking and innovation within the team with a view to continuously improving the management of projects
Profile and Skills to Success
- Masters degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
- Fluency in English
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Accounting and Finance or Project Management and Consulting
- Proficiency in MS Office Pack Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Knowledgement of Financial markets, OTC Derivatives and Swap lifecycle
- Proficiency in MS Office Pack Microsoft Excel
