PROCUREMENT OFFICER – 2024 (M/F) Miraflores
Objectives
Strengthen the procurement team and support it in the management and optimization of the purchases of goods and services performed by Arval.
Align the Business processes, tools, controls & KPIs, covering all activities initiated by Sourcing, on the Arval Norms.
Responsibilities
The Procurement Officer in Arval is entrusted with the following main assignments:
- Meet the requirements of businesses/entities in matters relating to external spending, based on the best cost-delivery-quality ratio for the Group, in compliance with the rules covering the control of operational risks and with the commitments of the Group on CSR,
- Optimize third parties spend by acting on unit prices and volumes and by defining standards for the products and services purchased,
- Secure supplier relationships,
- Follow Procurement norms and policies defined by the Group
Your day-to-day activities
The Procurement Officer is responsible for the following activities:
Support in the pre-qualification of consulted suppliers (financial health, level of service, supplier’s dependency…)
- Co-ordinate all communications with suppliers in the RFx-processes in order to check and control the process
- Support in the bids’ analysis (tenders)
- Support in systems and platforms used by Procurement (IVALUA, Risk360, …)
- Prepare contractual documents, in liaison with the Sourcing manager, the Legal Support team and suppliers: contracts, appendices, contract sheets
- Support in the creation and distribution of a formalized list of suppliers under their responsibility
- Support in the suppliers’ risk, including financial security (KYS), monitoring process, based on a standard and shared methodology for Sourcing (Norms & Standards and Procedure, follow up and control of the Group’s exposure to suppliers’ risk)
- Gather data and information on suppliers’ performance and risls
- Collect, compile and invoice back-end rebates to providers in liaison with the Countries and Finances teams.
- Manage and update with the Head of Procurement the Norms and Standards
- Realize analysis on demand for specific projects or markets.
- Contribute to provide quarterly report to Sourcing corporate
Your profile
- Degree (will be valued in Management or Marketing)
- At least 2 years of working experience
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of MS applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, ...)
- Knowledge of the Car Market and OEM products
- Strong communication skills and good negotiator
- Honest with impeccable ethics (adherence to purchasing norms and standards)
- Likes to take initiatives and is eager to learn, is innovative, rigorous and well organized and respects deadlines.
- Ambitious, focused, open, curious, enthusiastic, open and collaborative style
- Ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution
