Review of Season 1 of the Fintech Accelerator by L’Atelier BNP Paribas
It’s the end of an adventure that began in February 2016 for 8 startups selected from among 140 candidates.
Four months of workshops, networking and pitching at WAI Paris has enabled these InsuranceTech, FinTech and LegalTech companies to grow and develop in collaboration with BNP Paribas’s business lines.
A few examples?
- Fortia is creating a solution for better in-house compliance management, and is collaborating with BNP Paribas Securities Services.
- Heuritech, one of the winners of the BNP Paribas International Hackahton 2015, is analysing data to support marketing offers for BNP Paribas Personal Finance.
- KYC3 et Twin Peek are working with BNP Paribas Wealth Management. is offering a solution that uses data to improve companies’ understanding of their customers, and Twin Peek is developing a “digital twin” to enable users to explore the web while keeping their personal data secure.
Each of the 8 incubated start-ups are at very different stages of development. But one thing is certain: more than 50% of them have signed contracts with the Group, and further announcements are expected in the second half of 2016.
The Fintech Accelerator by L'Atelier BNP Paribas is part of the Group’s global strategy. Working hand in hand with these start-ups, BNP Paribas aspires to improve their customers’ experience, from sourcing to product launch.
Season 2 of the Fintech Accelerator by L’Atelier BNP Paribas will begin accepting applications in Q4 2016.
