Women's Forum 2020: BNP Paribas renews its support for women entrepreneurs

BNP Paribas will be the exclusive banking sponsor of the inaugural Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED), the world’s largest celebration of women innovators and job creators on November 19, which will launch at the United Nations in New York and simultaneously in 144 countries.

In partnership with Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), the U.S. Department of State, and ambassadors from 144 countries, Women’s Entrepreneurship Day is a day that launches a monumental movement for women worldwide. This will be the world’s largest celebration of women innovators and job creators, who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth, and expand human welfare. In New York State, Gov. Andrew Cuomo has proclaimed November 19 as Women’s Entrepreneurship Day.
This event will be followed by Women on Wednesday (#WomenWOW), a new, annual social media campaign to drive consumers to women-owned or women-led businesses every first Wednesday after Thanksgiving (December 3).
BNP Paribas is proud to be a founding partner of such a landmark event, which will showcase women leaders from around the world as well as present several “Women Pioneer Awards”.
This partnership is part of the "Entrepreneurs 2016" program, which reaffirms BNP Paribas’s commitment for many years towards women’s entrepreneurship.
