Created on the initiative of entrepreneurs in the renewable energy sector wishing to share their knowledge and know-how, Synergie Solaire provides a link between sector companies and NGOs leading humanitarian projects. The fund thus uses three levers to help NGOs:- financial donations
- equipment donations
- skills-based sponsorship

BNP Paribas supports Synergie Solaire
With a billion people in the world living without electricity, Synergie Solaire’s ambition is to respond to the major challenge of ensuring access to energy through concrete measures: solar electrification of schools and clinics, installation of solar cookers and drying kits, solar pumping system for access to water, etc. These are necessary to ensure the sustainable, economic development of emerging countries and improve the living conditions of local populations. BNP Paribas has chosen to partner Synergie Solaire in order to contribute to this collective effort. The fund’s actions resonate with the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, which is based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations (UN).
