The Best Product Innovation merit award goes to BNP Paribas Cardif's innovative product, “Cardif Variable Universal Life Insurance”, which encourages younger generations to make financial planning earlier by paying regular premiums. It introduces a brand new arrangement in the market by making regular asset return of fixed amount and monthly automatic interest transfer to fund investment. This helps clients make better use of their money for asset accumulation and prepare a comprehensive long-term retirement plan.
The “Best CSR” merit award goes to a range of BNP Paribas Cardif's corporate social responsibility projects, including the “Image of Love” project. “Image of Love” aimed to support and encourage the residents of Orchid Island which was destroyed by Typhoon Tembin in August 2012. The project included family photo-shooting and a series of voluntary activities, such as donation of books to their library, promotion of reading, a financial education game for children, as well as cleaning and reserving the beautiful natural environment. In addition, other programmes included the “Dream Field Sponsor” project which sponsored organic rice cultivation, reading programmes for students in remote areas, and sponsorship to the National Cheng Chi University for the establishment of research center for the study of bancassurance.
BNP Paribas Cardif, who also won the Foreign Life Insurance Branch Golden Award at the prestigious Taiwan Insurance Excellence Awards, is celebrating this year its 15th anniversary in Taiwan.
