How does one ensure employees are truly involved in the transformations undergone by a group composed of thousands, and even hundreds of thousands of employees?
To meet this challenge and ensure its teams’ long-term commitment, BNP Paribas has set a system called “La Minute Service”, developed by the startup 2Spark.
Every day, employees use the 2Spark online platform to answer one or two questions about their activity: customer relations, management, etc. This daily exercise only takes one minute, while being presented in a fun way that is perfectly aligned with new digital uses (streamlined, fast, interactive). “We wanted to take a new learning approach that was completely different from traditional methods. We were looking for a non-intrusive digital system that would help build a relationship and promise to develop the knowledge of all our employees,” states Valérie Belhassen, Transformation and Knowledge Development Manager for BNP Paribas Retail Banking.
We were looking for a non-intrusive digital system that would help build a relationship and promise to develop the knowledge of all our employees.
Launched in 2015, the progressive learning system has won over 75% of all 13,000 employees invited to take part at the bank, with a 95% satisfaction rate.
Thanks to its indicators, the 2Spark platform can measure the combined knowledge of all employees (anonymously), in order to focus its efforts on topics that are not yet mastered. It’s a modern and powerful tool that goes a long way to strengthening the culture of service at BNP Paribas.
“ BNP Paribas has shown us a truly inspiring level of trust. 2Spark impacts the bank on eminently strategic topics, notably the new customer relationship. ”
