About the job
- Technician Application Support mission is to provide technical and functional support to users of the banks several applications. Usually this position consists in support to user's requests; incident, problem and change management; coordination with other levels of support (ADM, Production, others). In addition, it will be required to provide feedback to user and communicate on issue resolution
Your Main Activities Are
- Functional monitoring and control of the chains, from Booking system to Regulatory layer and to Market authorities. Mostly automated, purpose is to be proactive and detect / solve in advance any discrepancy found before causing a loss for the bank. Also to design and implement new controls and more automation within the chain in order to mitigate risk.
- Analyse failures: Regulatory chain is complex and failures happened at all stages. Purpose is to analyse root cause, propose workaround and manage interim until fix is deployed on Production
- Answer client inquiries: Requests come from various clients having each their own expectations, hence requesting the Support analyst to be flexible enough to maintain the requested service level
- Participate in change management: Support Analyst has to assess impact, communicate and follow up releases across the supported applications
- Design and run various reports for stakeholders, based on multi sources, with different needs, purpose is to provide consolidated view to stakeholders in order to give visibility on Regulatory chains to top management
