The activities handled by the team includes, Expenses Management, Banking, Fund Management, Financial Accounting & Reporting, Compliance Management, Tax Operations, Invoicing and Collection, Audits and responsible in producing the Financial Statements of the entity.

Position Purpose

The position of Manager is for Chartered Accountant with post qualification experience in the field of Taxation. The person would be responsible for tax compliance to ensure that the day-to-day tax operations are undertaken as per designed processes and resultant controls are carried out in order to demonstrate high levels of personal integrity in the conduct of the affairs of the tax function. 

The person acts as a team player by undertaking the tasks for the tax function and hence thereby, assisting the VP to effectively manage the function to carry out the activities as planned.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

1.       Compliance with all direct tax laws and support in indirect tax compliances

2.       Relationship management with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (internal auditors, external auditors, Tax authorities, Tax consultants etc.)

3.       Manage payment of TDS liability, Advance tax and other statutory payment

4.       Handling and completion of TP Audit and Tax Audits

5.       Management and handling of Corporate Tax Assessments, TP assessments

6.       Support in management and handling of GST audits.

7.       Computation of quarterly and annual provision for tax.

8.       Management Reporting and presentation

9.       Responsible for robust operational and accounting controls for all the process, payments, returns etc. and ensure compliance with tax controls as per group norms as well as for ICFR purpose.

10.   Responsible for Schedule preparation for statutory audit closure and to liaise with auditors if required, to provide clarifications and to share necessary supporting.

11.   Contribute to any projects / initiatives that create efficiency

-  Expert Knowledge of Tax laws

-  Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines.

-  Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS-Word & Excel skills required.

-  Excellent communication skills and able to manage stressed work environment.
