Global Events Management Trainee
About the job
- The Global Events Management Trainee’s main mission is to create, plan, execute and deliver events and transversal project to internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the promotion of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB)
Your Main Activities Are
- Support and work alongside the Events Management Team in the delivery of events, including responsibility in event planning, budget setting, liaison with suppliers and internal and external stakeholders, on-site management, post-event feedback and budget reconciliation
- Learn the several activities managed by the Events Management Team on daily basis, including the understanding of the project management key phases required in the delivery of the events
- Assist the Events Management Team in the invitation process, including tasks such as creation of invitations, RSVP management, update master file and golden source files
- Learn how to operate the event management tools, survey tools and event interactive apps
- Assist in the preparation of the event pack, which includes briefing notes, participants list, logistics and other necessary documents
- Assist on the maintenance of common tools, systems and platforms, such as calendars, logs, invoices, among others
- Assist on the analytics stream by execution of reports and event debriefing notes
- Research venues and providers, including present selection based on criteria pre-defined
- Execute the tasks assigned respecting time schedule and deadlines
- Seek proactively to participate and help the team beyond the assigned duties
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Events or any related fields
- Fluency in English
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools
- Great team spirit, communication skills and organisational abilities
- Adaptability skills with a critical thinking approach
- Results driven mindset with great attentiveness to detail
About the Team
- Within the Company Engagement (CE) perimeter, the Central Events Management Team is part of the Central Marketing & Communications department of BNP Paribas Securities Services
- The Events Management Team’s main responsibility is to organise, within the global scope, the corporate events set as part of the planning comprised in the Marketing and Communications strategy lead, providing specialised services in the tactical design and organisation of end-to-end digital and physical events dedicated to internal and external audiences
