The 2014 Roland-Garros tournament will take place from 25 May to 8 June.

This year’s competitors include Rafael Nadal, the Williams sisters, Novak Djokovic, Maria Sharapova, Roger Federer, David Ferrer, Alizé Cornet, Richard Gasquet, and Gaël Monfils. 

After celebrating its 40th year of partnership with Roland-Garros in 2013, BNP Paribas is launching new tennis-focused initiatives for the 2014 tournament.

At BNP Paribas’ stand, located on allée Marcel Bernard at Porte d’Auteuil, the audience can try its luck with the SunBox, a game that gives members of the public a chance to win prizes and seats for the Men’s and Women’s finals.

The “SUN/SET & MATCH” game on Twitter and Facebook will also be launched during Roland-Garros, with 36 VIP seats to be won.

Finally, the BNP Paribas concept store, located at 2, place de l’opéra in Paris, is creating a one-month event that will let everyone experience the highs and lows of Roland-Garros. It will host two exhibitions: the first, created in partnership with Tennis Magazine, will focus on stories from Roland-Garros; the second, created by photographer Antoine Couvercelle, will display the world’s most unusual tennis courts. Visitors will be able to watch the competition live on a giant screen. Four Street Marketing operations will complement these measures.

With all these initiatives, the passion for tennis and the partnership between BNP Paribas and Roland-Garros, which has now lasted for more than 40 years, will definitely be celebrated in style.
