Solidarity tennis, youth and emotion at the 2023 French Open

An exceptional edition of the French Open ended on 11 June, both on the courts and beyond the Roland-Garros arena. Solidarity, youth and exchange marked the great Parisian event of worldwide tennis. A look back on the edition that celebrated the 50 years of partnership between BNP Paribas and tennis.

Make tennis more inclusive, accessible and supportive

To celebrate 50 years of tennis partnership, the Group launched several initiatives over the fortnight to reaffirm its commitment and impact on tennis. 

The Solidarity Match at the French Open

Sunday May 28th, BNP Paribas and the French Tennis Federation have organized the Solidarity match. A total of €50,700 was raised and donated to the "Attrap' la balle" charity during this exceptional evening!

A look back at the Solidarity Match between Ugo Humbert and Adrian Mannarino, which took place in front of 10,000 young people invited by BNP Paribas on Sunday May 28th.

Every Point Counts: a new solidarity programme to promote inclusion  

BNP Paribas launched the Every Point Counts programme. From now on, every point marked on all the tournaments supported by BNP Paribas will be transformed into a donation to organizations that promote education and inclusion through sport.

The money collected will be donated to projects that use tennis as a vehicle for impact, as well as to 50 solidarity initiatives launched on the Every point counts platform.

Project leaders can sign up for the crowdfunding platform created with Ululewearetennis.bnpparibas.ulule.com.

3 sets for the good cause

Tennis legends (Jo Wilfried Tsonga and Marion Bartoli), online streamers, and promissing Young Talents Team members were gathered Sunday June 11 on the Simonne-Mathieu court for an exhibition match broadcast on Domingo's Twitch account, one of the most followed French streamers. Fans of the We Are Tennis community also participated.

We Are Tennis Cup 2023: France wins title against Italy

The We Are Tennis Cup (WAT Cup) is the BNP Paribas Group’s internal competition. With 4,000 participants worldwide, this is one of the world’s largest intra-company competitions. For the final phase, 128 employees from 32 countries were present to close the tournament.

On Sunday June 11th, two teams had the opportunity to play the international WAT Cup final in the Simonne-Mathieu court in Roland-Garros. The French team won over the Italian team and Luxembourg won the third position.
