BNP Paribas Bank Polska starts providing investment advisory services using a model unique on the Polish market. The new Private Banking offer includes also wealth planning and support in tax planning services realized by external entities.
The new offer of BNP Paribas Bank Polska includes services related to protecting, optimising and enhancing capital. It combines the knowledge of Polish experts, i.e. private banking advisers, tax advisers, brokers and investment advisers, with global experience of the BNP Paribas Group.
With respect to investments, the new offer was prepared for three customer groups. The first group includes persons who independently take investment decisions and are interested in purchasing shares, bonds and participation units in investment funds. BNP Paribas Bank Polska offers them agency services through newly opened Brokerage Office.
The second group consists of customers whose capital is managed by asset management specialists. With such customers in mind, TFI BNP Paribas Bank Polska SA modified its offer. Customers may choose from among available model strategies or decide to create an individual portfolio. This service is available for persons willing to invest at least PLN 200 thousand in domestic funds portfolio, at least PLN 500 thousand in foreign funds portfolio, portfolio of shares or stocks, and at least PLN 1 million in an individual portfolio. Portfolio managers of TFI BNP Paribas Bank Polska make decisions on the basis of an individual investment portfolio of a given customer.
The third group, to which BNP Paribas Bank Polska addresses its offer, includes persons who want to actively participate in their asset management, make independent investment decisions taking advantage of recommendations given by licensed investment advisers. Investment advisory service was prepared especially for such customers: specialists from the Brokerage Office of BNP Paribas Bank Polska inform them about investment opportunities on a regular basis, and then such customers decide whether or not to take them up.
"This model of cooperation with affluent customers is an innovative solution on the Polish market", says Daniel Ścigała, Head of the Private Banking Department at BNP Paribas Bank Polska. "So far we have observed only some tentative attempts to create investment advisory offer on the market. BNP Paribas Bank Polska is the first bank to put in a comprehensive and well-prepared offer. We drew on experience of mature markets such as France, Italy or Switzerland."
Wealth planning offer was created by BNP Paribas Bank Polska for the benefit of customers who own various types of assets of significant value, including financial assets, real estate, shares in family business or works of art. Bank experts will assist customers in organising wealth structure, which will facilitate further assets increase, diversification and optimisation.
Internal bank specialists for wealth planning and tax advisers cooperating with the bank will assist customers with asset protection and settling inheritance issues. "Inheritance planning solutions are becoming more and more popular on the Polish market. It is because of the generation change that happens now in private companies established in the early years of capitalism – explains Daniel Ścigała."
Our wealth structuring team cooperates closely with customers' lawyers, notaries or auditors, so as to prepare solutions well adjusted to special cases, such as management of assets invested in various companies or leaving unrelated persons inheritance.
The bank and Private Banking customers cooperate on the basis of one agreement, under which customers gain access to the entire range of products: daily banking, investment and credit offers, wealth structuring offer and insurance.
The offer includes also Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. For the most demanding customers, especially those who travel a lot, the bank offers an exclusive MasterCard World Signia card with access to various assistance and concierge services and insurance.
Thanks to cooperation within the BNP Paribas Group, the new Private Banking offer includes also some alternative investments. Customers may take advantage of long-term experience of BNP Paribas Art advisers as regards investing in art or BNP Paribas Philanthropy advisers as regards setting up a philanthropic project.
Private Banking at BNP Paribas Bank Polska focuses on servicing customers with assets worth at least PLN 600 thousand. For holders of assets worth over PLN 10 million Private Banking has Wealth Management solutions that take into account the needs of such customers in full.
BNP Paribas Bank Polska Private Banking Centres are located in Warsaw, Kraków, Katowice, Gdańsk, Poznań and Wrocław. Another centre will be opened in Łódź. Moreover, Private Banking customers can meet bank advisers in any location of their choice.
