Peter Medgyessy's nomination (president of Cetelem Magyar Surveillance )as Prime Minister of Hungary

Peter Medgyessy, president of Cetelem Magyar Surveillance Committee, will be the next Prime Minister of Hungary as from May 15, 2002 Peter Medgyessy comes from the public service and has already occupied various ministerial functions such as Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.

In the nineties he managed the Paribas subsidiary in Budapest. In this quality he was in close contact with Cetelem management and facilitated the establishment of Magyar Cetelem.

As president of the Surveillance Committee he took part in the development of the company, who is now n°1 in consumer finance in Hungary.
