With The Wish Odyssey, your good wishes can help preserve our planet's climate memory
This year, as part of our 2017 Annual Greetings campaign, BNP Paribas invites you to share in a whole new experience by giving everyone the opportunity to make a difference thanks to their wishes. By linking up with the Ice Memory project supported by the BNP Paribas Foundation, we’re giving everyone the chance to make a difference by helping to safeguard the Earth’s climate memory for generations to come.
A unique crowdfunding campaignFollowing on from the broad scope of All I Wish You in 2014, and then the simplicity of All I Wish You in One Word in 2015, BNP Paribas is basing the 2017 campaign on an appeal to each and every person to make a commitment that will help combat climate change and protect our environment.
The Wish Odyssey is a unique operation for the general public but also for employees of the BNP Paribas Group. By sending your wishes on the platform, you support scientific research on climate. For every wishes sent, BNP Paribas undertakes to donate 1 euro to Ice Memory. If the milestone of 40,000 messages bearing your good wishes is reached, BNP Paribas will match the sum collected, thus doubling the total donation.
By taking part in the Wish Odyssey, we can together help to grasp a fleeting memory and make it eternal.
Launched in 2015, the Ice Memory project brings together glaciologists from around the world to form the first ice core sanctuary. The samples collected will be analyzed and stored on the highlands of Antarctica at Concordia. The BNP Paribas Foundation supports Ice Memory as part of its Climate Initiative program.
