Under the auspices of Michel Pébereau, the Casablanca Trade Center was inaugurated on 23 March by Mustapha Faris, Chairman and CEO of BMCI. The Casablanca Trade Center is the first in Africa. It is also the largest in the region in terms of business volume and staff, with a team of three trade advisers and four assistants. The inauguration ceremony was attended by nearly 400 clients - major corporations and SMEs with a strong international orientation - and a number of Moroccan VIPs, alongside BMCI General Manager Jacques Santini and his assistant Khalid Oudghiri. Pierre Mariani, Head of International Retail Banking (BDDI), Vincent de Roux, General Manager of BNPI, and Jean Audibert, Head of the Global Trade Services business line were also in attendance.
