Ile-de-France Region chooses BNP Paribas and HSBC CCF as arrangers for treasury notes program

  • 02.11.2001
The Ile-de-France (greater Paris) region has confirmed its status as an innovative government borrower in France with the November 2001 launch of a first treasury notes program.

The 500 million euro program which received top short-term ratings A1+ from Standard & Poor's and P1 from Moody's brings the Region a flexible financing instrument while optimizing the costs of cash raised on capital markets.

In May BNP Paribas won a mandate as co-arranger for the Region's EMTN program, alongside Merrill Lynch.
