Change it : Frédéric Potter, serial start-upper

In collaboration with L’Atelier, BNP Paribas created Change it, a video magazine which presents innovation, in all its forms. It aims at identifying the most innovative start-ups and providing and insight on their business, anywhere in the world.
Frederic Potter is now head of Netatmo, a company in full development, whose activity is based on the Internet of Things. After designing a connected weather station, a thermostat to control your heating remotely and achieve nearly 25% energy saving , Netatmo has developed a connected and intelligent webcam, capable to recognize people it films.
At his first attempt. Netatmo is indeed the third start-up he has founded. The first was Cirpack in 1998. As soon as his passed his engineering degree , Frederic Potter established this company, which specializes in the development of a solution to transmit voice over the Internet. After selling the company seven years later, he co-founded Withings, which innovates by creating scales connected to the Internet .
Frederic Potter leads Netatmo since 2011.
