BNP Paribas won top honours in three categories from AsiaRisk 2007

BNP Paribas has been awarded top honours in AsiaRisk's 2007 awards winning 3 categories namely “Derivatives House of the Year award – Asia (ex-Japan)“, “Credit Derivatives House of the Year” and “Deal of the Year”. The achievement recognises the bank's strength in bringing the most complex and innovative derivative solutions to clients across all segments of the Asian market.

“BNP Paribas has, over the years, concluded some landmark deals and outstanding achievements and it is great to be recognized by the investment community” said Henry Pang, Managing Director and Head of Equities and Derivatives, Asia (ex-Japan).Eric Nicolas, Executive Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) added, “The success testifies to BNP Paribas' leadership in originating and delivering innovative derivatives solutions to the most sophisticated users across all asset classes.“

AsiaRisk magazine noted that, “BNP Paribas has built up its derivatives platform in Asia to fully cover 13 jurisdictions and offer innovative financial engineering across credit, commodities, currency, equities, funds, interest rates and derivatives. It has also established itself as a highly responsible investment bank, impressing customers with its efforts on education, including making highly complex transactions easy to digest”.
