The Group was recognised for the high quality of its mobile apps from among a field of 40 competitors in a study by the research firm “My Private Banking Research”.
In total, more than 170 mobile apps were analysed based on 56 criteria, grouped into nine categories: availability of mobile apps; core functions for customers; innovative add-ons; security and privacy; content and features for marketing; contact options; technical features and support, strategy and navigation; and best practices.
At the conclusion of this study, BNP Paribas France’s apps were ranked in first place.
“Innovation is at the heart of BNP Paribas’ strategy. We are continually working to be the bank of choice for new banking practices. We are very proud that our apps have been rewarded”, said Marc Campi, director of BNP Paribas’ online bank and of Hello Bank! in France.
Today, BNP Paribas’ “Mes Comptes” (My Accounts) app has been downloaded more than 2.2 million times on mobile phones and tablets, an increase of 30% in monthly mobile users in 1 year.
