BNP Paribas, leading Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor, 4th year in a row

BNP Paribas retains its place as leader for the 4th year in a row, according to the “Mergers and Acquisitions” magazine. Indeed, the French group is ahead of the American banking industry heavyweights, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan.
Based on the percentage of purchased equity and company market value, BNP Paribas' 85 transactions amounted to 78,372 billion euros.
Philippe Meunier, Deputy Head of Corporate Finance stated that “2007 has been a very active year, with many transactions, particularly during the first half of the year.”
