BNP Paribas Investment Partners was awarded two prizes at the 16th La Tribune SICAV Victory awards, which took place on 19 June 2012:
- The Innovation in Financial Investment Prize (individual clients) for its THEAM Quant Equity Eurobloc Covered EDHEC fund, managed by THEAM, and
- First Prize in the "International Bonds" category, aimed at all types of establishments, for the five-year performance of the BNP Paribas Obli Monde fund managed by FFTW.
These prizes highlight two key aspects associated with BNP Paribas Investment Partners:
- Innovation: THEAM Quant Equity Eurobloc Covered EDHEC, which already received the 2012 Bronze Agefi Innovation Award, offers efficient access to European equities combined with the defensive strategy offered by the covered range which offsets downside shocks and takes advantage of market increases. THEAM is BNP Paribas Investment Partners' partner specialised in index-linked, active systematic, guarantee and alternative management.
- International bond management: a long-standing area of development for BNP Paribas Investment Partners' partner FFTW, this activity accounts for a total of €40 billion (30/04/2012), offering several areas of expertise drawn on by the BNP Paribas Obli Monde fund, notably global sovereign securities (or similar) and emerging debt.
