These changes seek to both better preserve the environment (reduction of the electricity consumption, diminution of CO2 emissions) and to improve the employees' work conditions (creation of new green spaces).

This project was product of the corporate social responsibility policy of the company seeking to decrease its greenhouse gas emissions. Completed in November 2013, the initiative was possible thanks to the participation of Quantum, an italian firm specialised in high energy-efficient lighting systems with low environmental impact.

Concerning the used technologies, the new digital lighting fixtures allow to manage light intensity, depending on the spaces and the exposition to natural light.

“BNP Paribas Cardif believes in the impact of these new technologies over the environment and invests in favor of his employees and clients”, explains Isabella Fumagalli, Responsible of BNP Paribas Cardif in Italy.
