“7 billion Others”, a portrait of humanity today

From 8 November 2014 to 8 February 2015, the Lisbon Electricity Museum will be showcasing the “7 billion Others” exhibition.
The “7 billion Others” project by the GoodPlanet Foundation, which has been supported by BNP Paribas since its inception, began more than ten years ago. In 2003, the idea of this audacious project was born: to create a video portrait of the world, one that would be both sensitive and humanist.
Following its initial presentation and resounding success at the Grand Palais in Paris in 2009, the “7 billion Others” exhibition has toured the world continuously, always combining artistic originality and human sensibility.
This year, “7 billion Others” is continuing to travel the world to meet its inhabitants face to face. For 3 months, the Lisbon Electricity Museum and the EDP Foundation will be the generous hosts of this exhibition.
