Senior PCMO Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • To process Remittance & Collection on (a) pre-processing, (b) prepare transaction via E-linx, (c) Escalation t balance, Dormant account approval, incomplete application approval, etc. (d) Regulatory Reporting in related to transaction.
  • Prepare and Submit monthly or adhoc reports to management; and 
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Team Head.

Vigilance/check Control

  • Assist and supply information require by SPOC in order to reply to SPOC/Level B1
  • Contact with customer to collates documents requested by SPOC/B1
  • Ensures relevance of documents (e.g. all in English) before sending them back to SPOC/B1
  • To be in alert mode for any transactions done in the sanctions countries but also in Myanmar (to inform asap the RM, the compliance and the line manager). Ensure to have the compliance sign off before processing the transaction.

Permanent control

  • Direct contribution to BNP Paribas Operational Permanent Control Framework.
  • Ensuring to comply with Operational permanent control policies and procedures in day to day business activities.
  • Ensuring to comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
  • Update all incidents is reported to management & Incident Management System according to the bank policy.
  • Minimizing operational failure, risk of fraud, by helping to devise, by implementing sufficient regular controls.

Anti-Money Laundering / Financial Sanctions (“AML/FS”) related duties

  • Operations are an integral part of the control framework including for AML/FS topics. In that respect, in performing your role you are expected to ensure adherence to AML/FS-related Group Policies and execution of associated operational controls, and to promptly escalate any resulting hit for analysis and decision

KYC

  • Ensure to take proper actions in line with approval matrix in case of Trouble Slip (Throwback) from ARPC on KYC matter related to PCMO transactions

Other

  • Assist Remittance Team Lead on adhoc basis as required.
  • To detect and to prevent money laundering and terrorism financing, 
  • To comply with the financial sanctions and embargo requirement (Shine Process)

Competencies (Technical / Behavioural)

  • Good knowledge of banking process and operation especially in Payment & Remittance
  • Knowledge and experience in DMS report, AMLO Reporting
  • BOT regulation & Local Regulation
  • Local Payment System, BAHTNET
  • Cash & Remittance Flow, Fund Transfer Domestic & Cross Border
  • SWIFT Knowledge about fund transfer, Cash Management Product and knowledge
  • Computer knowledge skill on Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
