About Business line/Function:
The Global Markets (GM) business of BNP Paribas helps its Corporate and Institutional clients leverage capital markets across the globe for their financing, risk management and investment needs. Position Purpose
Documentation IT
The team is in charge of CIB’s Back Office platforms that manages notably deals & associated documentation (e.g. Confirmations & Advices). Métiers covered are Interest Rates, Credit, Forex, Equity, Bonds, Commodities and Derivatives.
The platform facilitates notably the following Functionality:
· Automatic Document creation, sending & reception (fax, swifts & emails)
· Document drafting and validation, indexing and matching,
· Tracking/chasing and litigations management,
· Deal-related communication.
Responsibilities
We have a requirement for a strong Business analyst, with rounded middle/back office experience in investment banking.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate that they have delivered value on large projects in Capital Markets, preferably in the middle/back office area.
Business knowledge:
· A strong appreciation of Middle/Back Office functions
· Trade lifecycle
· Product knowledge: Interest rates derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Options, Fx options (Knowledge is required more in how these products might be represented in a Front Office, Back office system)
· Understands Back office Trade confirmation process and workflows.
