New form of creations
The VR Arles Festival is held during the opening week of the Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles and offers the world's best productions of virtual reality.
« Virtual reality is changing our relationship with reality and multiplies the creative possibilities of the authors. As a privileged observer of all forms of images, Fisheye has taken over this theme for two years. It is natural that the idea of this festival has germinated and has been made possible thanks to the total involvement of the Rencontres d'Arles and BNP Paribas » says Benoît Baume, Managing Editor of Fisheye Magazine.

« Technological advances associated with the democratization of virtual reality allow authors to capture this new medium. We are witnessing the rise of new expressions. Our mission is to realize it, but especially to share our discoveries with the public » says Sam Stourdzé, directeur des Rencontres d'Arles.
