With sustainability being a priority for BNP Paribas, one might ask: what does the word actually mean? From climate to energy transition or biodiversity and from social inclusion to geopolitical context, sustainable finance is not of a piece: instead, it is a whole array of varied and complex subjects, all in need of numerous types of specific expertise. To help navigate these themes, BNP Paribas created “Perspectives”, a publication that brings together numerous experts from within and outside the Group. Here is a look back at the first issues.
“Perspectives” is a quarterly publication dedicated to themes around ESG and developed by the Network of Experts in Sustainability Transitions (NEST) Coordinating Team. This internal network brings together nearly 400 sustainable finance experts from all BNP Paribas business lines and functions, by pooling their expertise to support the transition of Group clients.
