Did you say eurozone split ?
Philippe d'Arvisenet, Director of Economic Research

“ […] in euroland, you do not have a central budget. You have a common monetary policy but not a budget policy, or fiscal policy I should say. In terms of a crisis, maybe it will push towards more efforts or more imagination towards this. ”

The emerging countries under pressure in 2009
Guy Longueville, OCDE Economist

“ […] Because the industrial business cycle is now global and because emerging countries are now the main producers of industrial products; they were especially affected by the downturn. ”

US: The crisis will determine the president's agenda in 2009
Jean-Marc Lucas, OCDE Economist

“[…] Even though a stimulus package is necessary, it will not offset all of the aspects of the crisis. Additional measures are still needed to stabilize the financial system, in particular. ”
