BNP Paribas is releasing more than €700 million in guaranteed loans (of the €2.1 billion released for France). In France, the EGF is only aimed at “small” SMEs: fewer than 250 employees and turnover not exceeding €50 million. Companies with a balance sheet total of less than €43 million are also eligible.

BNP Paribas, European leader in film and audio-visual financing

In March 2022, BNP Paribas signed an agreement with Neuflize OBC and UGC under which the Group will own 100% of the capital of Cofiloisirs, a major player in the financing of cinema and audio-visual products in France and abroad for almost 50 years. In becoming the sole shareholder of Cofiloisirs, BNP Paribas will strengthen its position as the European leader in film and audio-visual financing.
BNP Paribas and its employees mobilised for Ukraine

These donations were given to the French Red Cross, MSF (Doctors without Borders), CARE and IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare).
€10 million was committed to the UN High Commission for Refugees, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and MSF (Doctors without Borders) when the conflict broke out.

To support the implementation of its strategic plan, BNP Paribas plans to recruit 7,000 employees in France, particularly in the areas of sales to individual and corporate customers, IT (data, cloud, cybersecurity, etc.) and support and control functions (audit, compliance, risk, etc.).
Increasing the number of women working in IT is a strategic challenge for BNP Paribas. Our goal? To have 37% women in our IT sector by the end of 2024.
