IT Fund Accounting Business Analyst team is center of expertise on all Fund accounting relevant jobs and processes. The team ensures all projects deliver FA solutions in accordance with new products, market practices and overall clients request to make every client benefit of these undertakings. It’s under the team’s responsibilities to ensure global Securities Services operational standards will be achieved and implemented. Furthermore, the team also provide assistance on FA related requests if the first level analysis could not deliver the expected detail of information.
As a key IT expert of the Business Line, the Senior IT Business Analyst is one of the main intermediaries between IT teams on the one hand, and Client Delivery (Operations/ Project teams) and Client Lines (Product, RM) on the other hand. 
 
To perform their mission efficiently, the Business Analyst collaborates with a host of other IT teams and specialists including Enterprise Architects, Project Managers, Support teams, etc.
Senior IT Business Analyst (IT FA)

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in similar position,
  • Excellent knowledge on process analysis and design,
  • Very good knowledge of the Fund Administration or the Position Keeping activities (Operations in areas like Transactions, OTC, Corporate Actions, Accounting, Reporting) will be considered as a strong asset,
  • Experience of MultiFonds (MFGA) platform will be considered as a strong asset,
  • Technical: Good to know SQL,
  • Excellent knowledge on project management methodology,
  • Excellent knowledge on testing methodology,
  • Customer centric mind-set,
  • Good communication both written and verbal,
  • English on advanced level (C1).

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze with a critical and constructive point of view the requirements formulated by the Business line.
  • Translate the business requirements into functional specifications (elements of system design)
  • Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts.
  • Assist users in performing their acceptance tests.
  • Assist the experts in problem solving, investigate operational issues and their root causes, and in identifying available options.
  • Assist the experts in defining and justifying improvements to existing solutions or new solutions design within the context of a unique platform and a multi-jurisdiction usage.
  • Apply the project life cycle group standards and communicate effective and informative progress statements in terms of outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.
  • Share knowledge about his/her area of expertise within the team.
  • Properly document each step of the Business Analysis and ensure relevant documentation is available for the end user and for IT Support function.
