 Have you ever wondered how the applications at BNP Paribas Fortis are and remain secure? Within the Centre of Expertise Security, a dedicated team ensures that all of the bank's applications are and remain secure on a daily basis.
 
 The Application Security and Vulnerability Management team provides a range of activities for this, ranging from secure development training to penetration testing. In addition, the team continuously scans applications and the IT infrastructure of BNP Paribas Fortis to detect vulnerabilities at an early stage. Once these have been identified, the relevant IT teams are informed to enable them to take the necessary corrective actions.
 
What do we expect from you as an intern?
 

 As an intern you will become a full team member and you will be able to apply and deepen your knowledge on the following matters:
 
 - Review of potential security issues in source code 
 
 - Support software developers in solving security issues in source code 
 
 - Retesting security issues previously found through penetration testing
 
 These activities require a great affinity with software security. 
 
Are you the right person in the right place?
 

 The suitable candidate has a:
 
 - good programming knowledge
 
 - solid foundation with regard to securing applications
 
 - passion for ethical hacking
 
 - enormous will to learn new things about application security on a daily basis
 
 - fluent knowledge of English (the working language)
 
 A suitable candidate can
 
 :- work well with other security professionals 
 
 - work independently on specific assignments
 
 The suitable candidate is following a course:
 
 - Bachelor of IT with specialization in cyber security
 
 - Master in IT / Engineering 
 
 Your internship lasts at least two months and you work four or five days a week.

 • You can test your book knowledge in practice, but also learn a lot of new things.
 
 • You will be working in a diverse environment with great colleagues, who will give you a warm welcome and guide you.

 Our internships are open to all students who are in their 3rd year bachelor or master year.
 You can work with us as an intern from September to December or from January to May.
 Before you start with us, we need a signed internship agreement from your school or university.
 All internships are unpaid. You will receive a fixed daily allowance for your trips or meals.
