Your role at Arval

  • Track orders through from enquiry to delivery. This can cover a wide range of products: cars, bicycles, charging solutions and accessories.
  • Execute and/or check every step in the process while also ensuring good communication with all the parties involved, confirm promotions with dealers, check whether the car has been ordered from the right dealer, check whether the customer has safely received the car, etc.
  • Register vehicles for delivery and activate (start up) the contract. 
  • Arrange an appointment for the return of the vehicle when the lease contract ends. 
  • Follow-up and anticipate complaints that may arise during the process. Inform the person concerned when action is required. Handle the administrative processing of a complaint in our system, so that our colleagues in field service can follow it up with our suppliers.
  • As a Buy, Delivery & Return Officer, you will act as the point of contact for both customers and suppliers, as well as being the go-to person within the account team when they need vehicle knowledge and product knowledge.

Your skills

  • Bachelor's level of thinking
  • Very good knowledge of both the national languages Dutch and French and some knowledge of English
  • Previous work experience is an asset
  • Accuracy and working well under pressure
  • A willingness to step up and having a sense of responsibility.
  • Interest in the automotive sector and mobility solutions
  • Ability to process details and work accurately so that every quote/order and invoice is prepared using the correct calculations and information. You bring your up-to-date and active product knowledge to your varied and extensive range of tasks
  • Customer focus in order to provide a flawless service to both your internal and external customers (customers and drivers)
  • Ability to negotiate with our different suppliers (car dealers, charging solution partners, etc.) to ensure service expectations are met
  • Results-oriented, both individually and as part of a team, in order to achieve personal and team goals
  • Ability to plan and prioritise your workload in a methodical and balanced manner
  • A dynamic personality in order to give the necessary input to the team, colleagues and customers and so increase commitment
  • You are someone who values respect, helpfulness and open communication
