What is this position about?
The job purpose of the Business Manager role for Securities Services Singapore reports and partners directly with the Chief Administrative Officer providing value added support, governance, strategy, reporting, staff engagement and transversal project management to support the organization’s strategy.
What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?
Coordinate and manage all Securities Services Singapore strategic communication and reporting
- Act as a single point of contact for Securities Services employees for all business-related topics
- Work closely with CAO to deliver timely and accurate business reports to Head of Location, APAC committees and other strategic committees, strategic presentations.
- In charge of content preparation of staff Town hall, executive visits.
- Liaise with Finance (Local and/or Regional) to monitor and analyze Budget and revenues for 2S Singapore.
- Work closely with relevant Securities Services’ teams to ensure alignment of business strategy
- Equip to interpret data and share analysis with management to pursue strategic initiatives and making effective key decisions
- Provide inputs as a key management committee member in any change management or transformational initiative.
Staff Engagement and Promote new ways of working in the location
- Work and execute with Management team on the People agenda through various staff engagement and leadership initiatives – e.g townhall, offsite, events etc.
- Hybrid working management and communications
- Provide with adequate level of support and communications to staff regarding the various transversal topics on the platform
- Lead workplace transformation and adequately communicate the plan and outcome to the department
Participate in transversal projects
• Participate actively in any ad-hoc transversal project – regulatory, finance, governance and control
• Manage and coordinate budget and staffing topics and ensure alignment with APAC’s plan
• Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity
What is required for you to succeed?
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Understanding of the Securities Services business
- Ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders
- Outstanding presentation skills, and strong verbal and written communicator
- Proactive, agile, and with great problem-solving skills
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
Specific Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree equivalent or higher
- 5 or more years in relevant financial services organisation(s)
- Prior experience in business management preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Power BI
