Risk Monitoring Management deals with,
- Maintenance of Authorized signatories’ lists, Call back lists and email indemnification documents
- Manual and Regular screening of signatories name as per Group Screening Procedure.
- Verification of signature and allocation of manual faxes to corresponding operational teams.
- Mitigating major risks associated with International Financial Sanctions, the BNP Paribas Sanctions & Embargoes alerts management framework and manage and disposition alerts, applying the authorization grid, escalation, and due diligence principles as per Level B roles and responsibilities.

Position Purpose
Senior Associate will be responsible to authenticate and assign instructions received in BIRD, DMS or e-mail application to the correct product team for action. Will also assist in the RMA process. Perform a reconciliation of BIRD and Right FAX queue for instructions received. They will be serving numerous Institutional Clients and their Portfolio’s in the areas of Investment Communications in Australia.The Process Associates will be taking care of Investment Communications processing & queries that will be serving numerous Institutional Clients and their Portfolio’s in the areas of Settlement and custody pertaining to different markets across the globe.
Interacting with Account Managers, Operations and the clients of BNP Paribas Securities business Functions and needs to provide high quality of service to the internal/external clients to meet the expected service standards.
To take proper guidance from their supervisors/Assistant managers.
Managing the daily operations/workflow within the business group and helps the Assistant Manager in achieving the process deliverables. Good understanding of the business is expected, including knowledge of SWIFT messages, Financial Products, Capital Market etc. Demonstrated commitment to continuous process improvement is required.
Direct Responsibilities
- The role of Investment Communications is to perform Signature Verification for the Manual instruction received from client and forward to the respective operational team.
- To Create and Modify the request received from client facing team on RMA process.
- Perform a reconciliation of BIRD and Right FAX queue for instructions received.
- Handle queries related to MT and MX swift messages.
- Manage day- to-day flow of manual instruction received in Core banking System.
- Perform callback with clients for the manual cash payment instructions.
- Maintenance of Authorised Signatories and call back lists.
- Manual and Regular screening of signatories name as per Group Screening Procedure.
- Stay up to date with the latest banking products.
- Should adhere to the set SOP, SLA’s and ensure delivery within the agreed timelines.
- Answering account manager, other internal department queries and handling telephone calls concerning payments or other related queries.
· Perform due diligence on alerts which have been escalated by Level A in transactions screening process (Fircosoft), including performing necessary investigation and providing supporting documentation.
- To document, investigate and provide preliminary advice and to escalate all alerts to B2.
- In charge of obtaining all necessary information and documentation in compliance with Group policies and procedures.
- Ensure all the quires are handled with at most care without errors/mistakes and within the Turn Around Time.
- Taking corrective measures/action in consultation with Seniors/Assistant managers
- Escalate unresolved open items to Seniors/Assistant managers.
- Maintain Communication Channels with internal peer groups.
- Should ensure proper handover to next shift staffs.
- Keep abreast of changes in AML/CTF and sanctions related regulations and internal policies.
· Actively involve in ensuring “Operational Resilience”, during Business Continuity Management.

Basic Requirement
· Graduate or Postgraduate with specialization in Finance.
