FRESH – Performance Management and Liquidity Solutions (PMLS)
FRESH has been created in January 2020, as a joint venture of Finance functional project teams with their counterpart ITg IT project teams. FRESH is hierarchically part of ITg, but with a very strong functional link with Finance, its sponsoring department. The main purpose of its creation is to align the efforts of Finance and ITg and accomplish the delivery of projects in the most timely and cost effective way.
PMLS is one of the main departments in FRESH covering Liquidity and Performance Management streams.

Position Purpose
· Purpose: Responsible for the Development and Maintenance of POSEIDON application which is a BNP Paribas group Liquidity reporting application.
· Scope: ISPL based PMLS IT Development team. Responsibility for the IT development and enhancement of PMLS applications
Responsibilities
· Manage and Lead the Team of Developers along with Individual Contribution to BAU
· Develop and enhance POSEIDON application as assigned.
· Contribute and propose changes to application design.
· Train and mentor junior developers in team.
· Organize periodic knowledge and training session to IT Development and APS teams.
· Contribute to strategic developments of application as directed by team lead.
· Perform L2/L3 Support for a Week (inc weekend) once per month.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Essential
· Extensive expérience of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (ideally Oracle 12c) and above.
· End to end development experience with Oracle database.
· Expertise with writing and optimizing stored procedures and SQL query performance
· Demonstrate track record in working on large databases where performance is key
· Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
· Very high level of motivation
· Strong communication skills.
· A positive and collaborative attitude
· Expertise in Tools: Git, PL/SQL
· Python skill is good to have.
Preferred
· Interests in finance topics
