Job Title: Advance FileNet Developer

Department: ITG Real Estate

About Business line/Function: BNP Paribas Real Estate

Position Purpose: 

Design, develop, test and maintain IBM FileNet solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Contribute to IBM FileNet migration, upgrade and modernization and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Configure and customize FileNet repositories, components, workflows and integrations while applying development, security and documentation standards.

Provide application support and contribute to the analysis and resolution of production incidents.

Responsibilities 

Direct Responsibilities

  • Design and develop IBM FileNet P8 solutions, services, custom components and reusable Java modules.
  • Develop solutions using Java, Java EE, IBM FileNet APIs, Content Engine APIs and IBM Content Navigator plug-ins.
  • Configure object stores, document classes, properties, metadata, security, storage areas, events and search.
  • Develop integrations using FileNet Content Engine APIs, REST services, web services and approved enterprise integration services.
  • Build workflow and business-process solutions using FileNet workflows, Process Engine capabilities and, where relevant, IBM Business Automation Workflow.
  • Understand, improve, maintain and document existing IBM FileNet solutions.
  • Participate in platform upgrade, platform upgrade, platform upgrade, platform upgrade, platform upgrade, platform upgrade, migration and modernisation activities, including assessment, remediation, testing and deployment.
  • Create unit tests, support functional testing and address defects in accordance with agreed quality standards.
  • Use source control and CI/CD practices, and contribute to code reviews and release preparation.
  • Support the operations team with incident analysis, troubleshooting and root-cause identification.
  • Work in an Agile environment and participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Contribute to developer communities and knowledge-sharing activities within BNP Paribas.

 Specific Qualifications:

  • Microsoft IBM FileNet certifications are desirable
  • IBM FileNet or IBM Automation certifications are an advantage
  • Ability to collaborate with teams operating in European time zones.

Experience Level: 7 to 9 years of experience in IBM FileNet development, configuration, integration and application support.

Education Level: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
