About Business line/Function:
The Change Management/Project team is establishing a new testing function focused on Business specific testing(UAT) as part of the overall testing lifecycle and is seeking a Testing manager to lead this test execution function.
The Testing manager will work across all ongoing and future projects, having responsibility for the execution of testing activities including test case review, test data preparation, test execution on applications hosted in IST/UAT/PPD, identify inconsistencies and report defects to all stakeholder. If needed perform demo to IT, BA for resolution purposes.

Position Purpose
The Testing manager is responsible for:

Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Controlling – keep projects on track by:
- Measuring: checking test progress toward meeting its objectives
- Evaluating: determining the cause of deviations from the plan
- Correcting: Taking corrective actions to address deviations by managing risks and issues
- Achieving the above by defining baselines, tracking test progress, and test status reporting, determining, and taking corrective actions
- Stakeholder Management:
- Working with project managers, Business analysts, Operational teams and subject matter experts
- Working with IT locally & globally (including regarding entry criteria to UAT, for management of test environments and code releases, and for test automation)
- Business partnering with senior stakeholders internally and externally (clients, vendors, regulators)

- Provides concise direction and objectives for the team members and evaluates their performance on a periodic basis
- Manage a small offshore team (3-5) and oversight of local based Test resources as required

- Candidate should have worked for the operations in handling instruments like Bonds, Equities, Funds, Structured Products, Options etc and good understanding for Instrument pricing, booking corporate action events like stock split, Dividend, Accrual/coupon calculations.
- 5yrs + Experience in leading or doing UAT for a client and/or 5-7 yrs + Experience in Testing or Business Analysis
- Experience working with an onsite-offshore team model
- Experience in Customer (internal/external) facing roles in financial institutions
Desirable:
