Structured Finance Manager / Assistant Manager

We are looking for an experienced Structured & Project Finance professional to join TEB CCIB Group and assist in the successful structuring, negotiation, and closing of long term financing transactions. The successful candidate will:

  • Work closely with coverage and sales teams to originate and execute new deals
  • Perform the necessary research and analytics including financial analysis and cash flow modelling
  • Manage the credit process including preparation of credit applications for all new transactions, undertake all due diligence activities and present to the relevant credit committees in TEB and BNP Paribas.
  • Ensure that transactions are structured to mitigate risks appropriately and executed with due care
  • Ensure compliance of all internal and external matters in accordance with banking regulations, bank policy and best practices
  • (In terms of Manager role) Mentor, develop and train junior analysts across the team to expand team capabilities
  • The position entails working on the entire due diligence and credit approval process as well as coordinating the financing transactions from origination (in tandem with coverage) through to execution and monitoring. The dynamism and current success of the team offers ample progression opportunities for the right individual.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Management or Accounting. Master’s degree is an additional asset
  • 2-5 years (for Assistant Manager role) and/or 5+ years (for Manager role) of experience in financial analysis of corporate entities and/or structured finance transactions
  • Solid financial literacy, credit analysis skills including financial modelling and cash flow analysis
  • Experience and capability to build and run pro-forma financial models (incl. sensitivity analysis) for project finance transactions. Energy sector experience is a plus (i.e. strategy, finance or advisory teams)
  • Ability to draft, present and defend credit proposals in English
  • Robust communication and negotiations skills and ability to act as a coordinator between local and global business parties for transactions
  • (In terms of Manager role) Ability to prioritize responsibilities across multiple transactions and proactively manage junior staff and deal team accordingly
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • CFA Charterholder certificate or enrolment to the program would be a plus
